Abstract Research progress on application of microwave irradiation in non-aqueous enzymatic catalysis were reviewed with 43 references. The influence of microwave irradiation on enzyme catalytic reaction kinetics, reaction yields, selectivity and enzymology properties in organic solvent were discussed in detail.
